This website is owned by the Dare To Be Different organisation. By accessing and using this service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Welcome to Dare To Be Different. We are committed to inspiring, connecting, showcasing and developing female talent in male-dominated environments & professions. Dare To Be Different is a non-profit organisation led by Susie Wolff in collaboration with the UK motorsport governing body- the Motorsport Association (MSA). Dare To Be Different is about increasing female participation, not just in competition driving, but everything from volunteering to engineering, fitness training to team management and media. By creating a community of women who can share their experiences and stories, the campaign will make it easier for women to take on the challenge and pursue their dreams. Dare To Be Different provides its interactive website and associated services subject to the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
USE OF SITE
We welcome both members and non-members to use our site. Whether you are a visitor using the public-facing site at www.daretobedifferent.org or one of our promoter or sponsor of the organisation using the community-only features, your use of this site or the services described below indicates your acceptance of these terms.Our TERMS AND CONDITIONS apply to all activity occurring on this website (www.daretobedifferent.org), including all pages on the daretobedifferent.org domain, any related domains, third-party domains hosting Dare To Be Different intellectual property, Dare To Be Different bulletin boards, blogs, social networking properties, member databases, and internal or e-mail submissions, regardless of whether they are specifically referenced herein (“the services”).

Dare To Be Different is about more than finding the next female F1 driver, it is about inspiring women of all ages to break the stereotypes of a previously male-dominated sport. In the coming months, a fully integrated online community will be formed across our all-new website and social channels, bringing together girls and women all over the worldwho share a passion and desire to get involved in motor racing.By showcasing talented girls and women in every area of the sport, from driving to volunteering, engineering, TV and media, fitness and nutrition and much more in between, Dare To Be Different will be constantly changing perceptions and paving the way for women to flourish. What’s more, we’ll be creating the role models of tomorrow to inspire the next generation.
The Dare To Be Different network will bring women in motorsport together in an unprecedented way, with members benefitting from direct access to their peers, colleagues and even their idols for information, advice and inspiration. There will be networking events exclusively for Dare To Be Different Community members, bringing aspiring girls and women face to face with our Ambassadors. In addition there will be giveaways, competitions and other benefits.
Set up as a non-profit organisation, there is a £25 per year community fee for the Dare To Be Different Community, and as the initiative grows, so too will the benefits to its members. For more information on the community, visit www.daretobedifferent.org/join/. All paid community fees are for one year from date of purchase. Dare To Be Different will automatically renew your membership at the end of each year, using the payment information you initially provided. As your membership year draws near its close, Dare To Be Different will send you a reminder before processing your membership renewal. The annual fee is non-refundable and no reductions will be made in the event of early termination. Termination of the contract by either party should be in writing with a notification period of eight (8) weeks.An invoice for the annual fee will be sent to the member at the end of the current twelve (12) month period. Prices are subject to change and will be posted on the website. Membership of the Initiative does not convey any right to vote nor any other membership right related thereto nor to represent the organisation in any way. If you elect to opt out and not renew your membership – or to renew your membership using a different credit card, we ask that you provide notice at least 60 days prior to your anniversary date, or upon receipt of your first reminder email, whichever occurs first, by contacting by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
COMMENTS, COMPETITIONS AND PRIZES
From time to time Dare To Be Different may run competitions, free prize draws and promotions on this website. These are subject to additional terms that may be made available at the time.
CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION
You agree that this Agreement shall be governed by and construed for all purposes in accordance with Austrian law. You will also agree, subject to the following clause, to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Austrian courts as regards any claim or matter arising out of this Agreement. For the exclusive benefit of Dare To Be Different, Dare To Be Different shall retain the right to bring proceedings relating to the substance of the matter in the courts of the country of your residence.
Personal information about you is collected when you register or fill in a form, place an order for goods, on the Dare To Be Different website or when you send an e-mail to Dare To Be Different. This information will be used for the purpose for which it is provided, unless you are informed otherwise at the time of giving the information. You may inform Dare To Be Different at any time if you wish it to cease using your personal information. Dare To Be Different will from time to time also collect information about you that does not reveal your identity. It will use this information for editorial purposes and occasionally for other internal purposes. At all times it will be used in aggregate form and will not be connected to any name, address or other personal identifying information.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Dare To Be Different processes personal information in order to conduct market research surveys, run competitions and provide you with information about products and services on offer and process your orders for such products and services. Dare To Be Different may from time to time use your contact information to tell you about news or events run by Dare To Be Different or one of its strategic partners. You may opt out of receiving such mailings either when you register with Dare To Be Different or at any time afterwards.
Dare To Be Different might disclose your information under strict terms of confidentiality and restriction of use to partners of Dare To Be Different who supply services on behalf of Dare To Be Different and who require to process personal data in order to provide such services. When you use Dare To Be Different services you consent to the disclosure of your personal information to Dare To Be Different’s partners for this purpose. Dare To Be Different will not disclose any of your personal information to any other third parties without your express consent.
